What are the advantages of registering a Peoka Name and subscribing to Peoka?

The major advantages are people do not need to remember whether you are .com, .co.uk, or .net etc. and can get to your website by simply typing in your Peoka Name. Subscribing to Peoka means your chosen name or brand is protected and reserved and therefore cannot be used by another person/company on the internet as a Peoka Name.

What do I receive when I register and subscribe?

There are 5 categories of subscription to suit every level of expected usage and money. Each has different level of facilities and benefits. Yearly subscription ranges from £15 (US$30) to £6,000 (US$12,000).

What are the limitations to registering a Peoka name?

There are very few limitations on how a Peoka Name is written, but a Peoka Name must consist of at least three letters. You can have gaps between words, use most symbols and figures. Names are not case sensitive.

What kinds of names are am I allowed and not allowed to register?

You cannot register words that are clearly abusive, hateful or pornographic in nature or brand names, trademarks of third parties who are Peoka subscribers. Furthermore, qualifying Peoka Names that link to inappropriate internet sites or webpages will be disconnected without refund.

What is the difference between a Peoka Name and a Domain Address?

You still require a domain address to be on the internet; therefore your Domain Address is the engine your Peoka Name links to get visitors to where you want them on your website.

It is possible to purchase any name I like?

Apart from the restrictions noted in FAQ nos. 3&4 you can purchase any name you like on a 'first-come, first-served' basis provided the name is not already in use, reserved, or prohibited.

How long is a subscription?

The minimum length of a subscription period is 12 calendar months but there are no limits to the maximum number of years you can subscribe.

Is it possible for me to pay my subscription by monthly instalments?

It is currently not possible to pay your subscription by monthly instalments but we will review this depending on demand and ease of administration.
9.

Can I make payments by Cheque?

You can make your payment by cheque, but your Peoka Name will not be activated until your cheque is cleared. To pay by cheque, make cheques payable to" Matok Gateway Consultants ".
10.

Is there a refund policy?

Refunds cannot be given for cancellation of your subscription during any period within the subscription year, nor if as a result of violating our conditions of registration and usage we terminate your service.

In case of a technical issue, which cannot be resolved by both our support department and you, the customer working together, we would be pleased to issue a refund within 15 days of purchase.

Refunds on purchases made with a Credit/Debit card will only be credited/debited to the same card.

I purchased a Peoka Name but haven't received any notification?

Please check that the email provided at the time of subscription is correct. In any case you can send us an email with your reference details to salessupport@peoka.com

I was billed twice. I received 2 emails confirmations?

Make sure that these charges have different order IDs. If it is so contact our billing department billing@peoka.com
13.

I do not know my link page or how to copy it?

Speak to your webmaster to send us the required link on your behalf quoting your order ID no. If this is not possible fill in the contact page on our site and our technical support team will contact you by email with a step by step guide to sending us your URL.
14.

If I purchase a Peoka Name, does that mean nobody else can purchase the same name?

If you successfully purchase a Peoka Name, by completing the purchase process, then the Peoka Name purchase is reserved for you and nobody else in the world can purchase the exact same name.
15.

My website is already listed on your site with a Peoka name, does this mean I do not have to pay anything?

If your website already has a Peoka Name on our site and you have not paid for our services, it follows that your site is one of the few qualifying sites and therefore your Peoka Name has been reserved for your use for a limited period ONLY. Contact our sales@peoka.com to make payment to keep your website/webpage live.

If you want to change the link you are currently linked to with us, you will need to undergo our validation process to verify your identity and relationship with the existing site.
16.

I have sent you my URL address but still can't use my Peoka Name?

Please us an email informing us of this fact to prioritysuport@peoka.com giving us your order ID, your name and submitted website/webpage. We undertake to contact you in 36 hours from receipt of this mail.
17.

Can I change my URL address before the end of my subscription year?

You are allowed to change your URL once during the life of a subscription year without charge. If you are a Gold or Platinum Service customer, you can change your URLup to 3 times a year without charge. Subscribers with a large number of Peoka sub-name pages cannot automatically change such links without reference to us.

Your Peoka Name cannot be changed.
18.

What if I exceed my Click-Throughs (C-Ts) in any one month. Do I get penalised and removed?

You will not be penalised if you exceed your Click-Throughs, but your account will be charged at the prevailing C-T charge.
19.

How do I write my Peoka Name?

The writing convention for a Peoka Name is @p for example BBC is written as BBC@p. The programme Eastenders on BBC TV is written as eastenders@p.

Will people confuse my Peoka Name with an email address?

The difference between email addresses and peoka names, is Peoka names do not have a .com or .co.uk etc.  convention at the end.
